• Tax Credit for Solar Attic Fans in Indiana... First RENEWABLE ENERGY victory in Indiana Legislature for 2009. This afternoon the Indiana House of Representatives passed HB 1415 establishing an individual tax deduction for solar attic fans passed on third reading by a vote of 89 to 9. • SunWind Power has joined the Energy Pros, a local group dedicated to educating the public on sustainable building practices (Learn more). We will be helping to educate people on how to go solar in KY and in IN or apply other renewable alternatives such as wind.
• Energy Independence - A Farm installs a Hybrid Solar PV and Wind System in Kentucky (KY). They did not lose their power from the recent wind storm that ravaged Southern Indiana and Louisville, KY. (Click here for story of Click here for news report).
• Solar Pool installed in IN. - SunWind Power installed a solar pool heating system for Legend of French Lick Resort in Indiana recently. Click here for resort site. Consider a cost-effective alternative to heating your pool in Kentuckiana. Consider solar pool systems in KY and IN.
• Wind turbine installed in Indiana - SunWind Power installed the first 15 kW Proven wind turbine in the United States Merom, IN. The turbine was installed for Hoosier Energy's educational center (Read more). Installation of a 3 kW PV solar system in IN also occured at the site near the Turtle Creek Reservoir. (Read more). More excitingly, view the kW generated from the Merom plant for the solar array and wind turbine we installed at the site.
• Wind turbine installed in Indiana - Till Schilling purchased a Skystream wind turbine from SunWind Power which was recently installed at his house in Washington, IN (pictures above).
