SunWind Power Systems, Inc. was founded in 2005 by Patricia and Jeremy Coxon to provide products and services for solar, wind, and other renewable forms of energy to the people Indiana and Kentucky
2005-Jan Became AET factory certified dealer and installer
2005-Sep Incorporated as SunWind Power Systems, Inc
2007-Sep Became Minorities/Women Business Enterprises (MWBE) certified in the state of Indiana
2007-Oct Installed the first net-metered PV system on Frankfort, KY’s municipal power system
2008-Jun Installed first Proven 15kW turbine in the USA at Hoosier Energy’s Turtle Creek Environmental Education Center
2008-Oct Received NABCEP PV certification
2009-Aug Installed a Skystream wind turbine at Ramsey Middle School in Louisville, KY
2009-Oct Large off-grid hybrid solar/wind system completed in Breckenridge Co., KY
2009-Dec Completed commercial solar hot water system for 34-unit apartment complex

SunWind Power Systems, Inc. was originally founded by my husband and I and is located in Indiana, just across the bridge from Louisville. We have both grown up in Louisville, KY and love the town for its diversity, grassroots activism, and small town feel. The love for Louisville and the surrounding region led us to start a business that allows us to remain in the area and give back something to the community.
Our educational backgrounds, core values, and love for the environment made the choice to start a company that provides products and services for solar, wind, and other alternatives a natural one. We are pleased to be able to offer our services to those living in Louisville, KY and southern Indiana. We also are available to all residents of KY and Indiana and beyond the Kentuckiana region. Our primary goal is to make a positive difference in both the physical and fiscal environment for all of our clients.
